The Bay of Islands Lodge offers holiday and group accommodation.

The Bay of Islands Lodge is family-owned and operated, in the heart of Northland’s Paihia.  

Your hosts, Andy and Lynne, are warm and welcoming and always on hand to offer local knowledge and tips on ways to get the best out of your stay in the Bay of Islands. Experienced and knowledgeable they will be able to support you with all your needs while you stay.

The Lodge has recently been renovated from the original YHA hostel, which Andy and his family have run since 2013, keeping the existing values of manaakitanga (hospitality) and kaitiakitanga (environmental care) central to the place. 

The Bay of Islands solar-powered lodge now takes bookings sold on a per room basis each with an ensuite bathroom for couples, groups, and families.

There is also an option to book the Bay of Islands Lodge exclusively for your own use.

Our large communal kitchen, cozy lounge, and outdoor courtyard with barbeque, is just the place to relax, connect and enjoy the evening after days spent exploring around the Bay of Islands. 

Andy and Lynne your hosts at Bay of Islands Lodge, are committed to the Māori principals of Manaakitanga (hospitality) and kaitiakitanga (environmental care) in everything they do.
