Our most local course is – Waitangi Golf course, only 4.7km from the Lodge. It is an 18-hole course with the most stunning views to Russell and out across the Bay to the Nine Pin and Black Rocks. An undulating course which has challenges for all levels of players. 

We have some other superb golf course close by, Kauri Cliffs which is world class is only 40 minutes away.   Kauri Cliffs was designed and built by David Harman of Golf Course Consultants, Orlando, Florida.  Ranked #37 in the world by Golf Digest Top 100 Greatest Golf Courses in the World.

Carrington a bit further at 1.5 hours is another championship-standard course and closer to home we have the Bay of Islands Golf Club in Kerikeri.  There are excellent courses dotted all over the Far North.  Well worth the trip.
