Groups are very welcome and the team at Bay of Islands Lodge can do a number of things to ensure your stay is well managed, enjoyable and safe. Bay of Islands Lodge offers exclusive use to school groups (primary, secondary and tertiary) and sporting groups and clubs.

School groups, sports groups and clubs are our specialties. We can accommodate up to 37 people in our different rooms (varying sleeping configurations) and where needed, students can be separated by gender.  Our fully equipped communal kitchen and BBQ lends itself to DIY catering – keeping your costs down.  The lounge, dining area and outdoor seating is perfect for your school or sporting group to gather at meal times as well as other times during your stay with us. 

The Bay of Islands Lodge is within walking distance to many activities that appeal to school groups. With our knowledge and experience with school groups, we are able to help organise any and all activities that you may want to do in the Bay – coming up with suggestions based on our local knowledge.

We’re committed to supporting youth group travel with our thorough Health and Safety procedures and risk management documentation and can assist with providing risk assessment information on request.
